SAMR and SAC Push Forward the Transformation of International Standards

To meet the requirements of "actively adopting international standards" stipulated in the National Standardization Development Outline, State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and Standardization Administration of China (SAC) held a video conference on the mechanism of tracking and transforming international standards on May 31, 2022. 
The meeting was attended by the participants from 239 units including industry associations, mirror committees of technical bodies in international standards organizations and national standardization technical commcittees. 
According to the arrangement, pilot work will be carried out in key areas such as carbon peak and neutrality, grain and oil, food, consumer product, intelligent manufacturing, transportation and logistics. 
The meeting is of positive significance to improve the adoption of international standards, which was agreed by all participants, who will provide practical support for improving the work mechanism of transforming international standards.
