The training classes for international standards were held at the International Standardization Talent Training Base (Chengdu) on May 30 and 31, to practically put the National Standardization Development Outline in place.
To well implement two international standards respectively on novel coronavirus testing technology and natural gas, the Base will provide a series of training classes for the publicity and implementation of these international standards.
With the systematic guidance of State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and Standardization Administration of China (SAC), experts involved in the development of the above-mentioned international standards were invited to interpret the standards and share their experience in standards development.
The training classes have well helped Chinese standardizers better understand the content of the standards and the procedure of international standards development, which can also promote the adoption of these standards in China and accelerate the harmonization of national and international standards.
The classes held in virtual form were attended by nearly 1,700 participants from the standardization bodies in 24 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as well as about 100 enterprises and institutions in the fields such as medical testing, medical care and medicine.
