The Second China-Mongolia International Standardization Forum was held on September 7 in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The opening ceremony was addressed by Dr. Tian Shihong, Vice Minister of State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and Administrator of Standardization Administration of China (SAC), Mr. Qi Batu, Vice Chair of the People’s Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and Mr. Uuganbayar Bayarsaikhan, Acting Chairman of Mongolian Agency for Standardization and Metrology (MASM).

With the theme of “Standards Contribute to Green Development and Facilitate Trade”, the forum invited experts from both countries to share practices and experiences of standardization, promote the mutual recognition and interconnection of standards, and spur the coordinated development of standards and innovation.

The forum, hosted by the People’s Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and organized by the Inner Mongolia Administration for Market Regulation, was attended by more than 200 experts from both China and Mongolia.
