China Standards Innovation and Contribution Award Unveiled in Nanjing

The China Standards Innovation and Contribution Award 2022 was unveiled in Nanjing, capital of East China’s Jiangsu province, on March 30. Dr. Tian Shihong, Vice Minister of State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and Administrator of Standardization Administration of China (SAC), Mr. Hu Guangjie, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province, and Mr. Wang Liping, Chair of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Nanjing Committee attended the awarding ceremony.

 

There are arduous tasks and glorious missions ahead for standardizers across the country, since the 20th CPC National Congress has drawn a blueprint for building a modern socialist country in all respects, making key deployment for high-quality development, and the CPC Central Committee and the State Council released the National Standardization Development Outline to specify the tasks and strategic paths for the development of the national standardization cause. At the ceremony, all standardizers were encouraged to take the award winners as role models, contributing their standardization expertise in raising the country’s quality.  

 

The China Standards Innovation and Contribution Award is the top award in the standardization field in China. The award winners for 2022 included 60 standards projects, 4organizations and 8 individuals including 1 with lifetime achievement award.
