Hosted by China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology Group, national standardization technical committees gathered for work exchange at a meeting held in Beijing on April 19, which was addressed by Dr. Tian Shihong, Vice Minister of State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and Administrator of Standardization Administration of China (SAC).

It was pointed out that, as the main force of standardization work, technical committees should accelerate the capability improvement, making great efforts to optimize the overall layout of technical committees, improve the new standards system and enhance the high-level standards supply.

Furthermore, they should establish the platform for institutional opening-up of standards, and cultivate excellent standardization talent team, and strengthen cooperation with various parties, to make new advances for standardization development.

During the meeting, the secretary-generals from six technical committees on information safety, additive manufacturing, finance, automobile, energy and logistics respectively gave speeches for further exchanges. Representatives from relevant departments of SAMR and technical committees attended the meeting in hybrid form.
