A number of important national standards have taken effect since August 1, including those on safety requirements of electric vehicle conductive supply equipment and conductive charging systems, intelligent beds, norm of energy consumption per unit production of gas-steam combined cycle power set, retreaded tyres for passenger cars, and general technical requirements for emergency shelters.
These standards will provide support for guiding the optimization and upgrading of traditional industries, regulating the healthy development of emerging and future industries, creating a favorable consumption environment, and ensuring the safety of people’s lives and property.
The mandatory national standard GB 39752-2024, Safety requirements of electric vehicle conductive supply equipment, specifies the general safety element requirements and corresponding test methods for electric vehicle conductive supply equipment, which is applicable to various types of conductive supply equipment with a rated output voltage of AC 1000 V or DC 1500 V and below. The mandatory national standard GB 44263-2024, Safety requirements for electric vehicle conductive charging system, stipulates the overall safety of electric vehicle conductive charging systems as well as the safety requirements and corresponding test methods for charging interfaces, AC charging, and DC charging. These standards will further improve the safety of electric vehicle conductive supply equipment and charging systems, ensuring the safety of lives.
The voluntary national standard GB/T 45231-2025, Intelligent bed, defines the classification, requirements, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, storage, and corresponding test methods for intelligent bed products. The standard applies to the design, production, processing, quality inspection, and quality evaluation of indoor intelligent bed products. It will improve the intelligent functions and performance of intelligent bed products, drive the technological progress in intelligent sleep products represented by intelligent bed, and drive the intelligent upgrading of traditional furniture manufacturing.
The mandatory national standard GB 45247-2025, Norm of energy consumption per unit production of gas-steam combined cycle power set, stipulates the energy consumption per unit, technical requirements, statistical scope, and calculation methods for gas-steam combined cycle power set. The standard is applicable to the calculation and assessment of electricity supply coal consumption rate and heat coal consumption rate of gas-steam combined cycle power sets with a capacity of 100 MW and above, as well as the energy consumption control for newly built, renovated, or expanded sets. It will promote energy conservation, carbon reduction, and green development in the power industry, contributing to its high-quality development.
Three voluntary national standards, GB/T 14646-2025, Retreaded tyres for passenger cars, GB/T 45291-2025, Retreaded tyres for earth-movers, and GB/T 7037-2025, Retreaded tyres for trucks and buses, specify the technical requirements, test methods, and marking of retreaded tyres for passenger cars, earth-movers, and trucks and buses respectively. GB/T 45292-2025, Technical specification for retreaded tyre production, stipulates the technical conditions for retreaded tyre production, including basic requirements, production scale, organizational management, equipment and site, safety, environmental protection, and energy conservation. These standards will guide the healthy and orderly development of China’s tyre retreading industry.
The voluntary national standard GB/T 35624-2025, General technical requirements of emergency shelters, defines general technical requirements for the planning, design, construction, management, maintenance, use, inspection, and evaluation of emergency shelters. GB/T 45290-2025, Specification for design of rural emergency shelter, establishes design principles for township (sub-district)-level and village (community)-level emergency shelters in rural areas, and specifies basic requirements as well as requirements for site selection, general layout, functional zones, shelter sites and buildings, facilities and equipment, and documentation management. GB/T 33744-2025, Specification for management operation and maintenance of emergency shelters, stipulates requirements for system construction, daily management and maintenance, emergency use, inspection, and evaluation of emergency shelters. These standards will play a guiding role in promoting the systematic construction of emergency shelters nationwide.
The mandatory national standard GB 34668-2024, Safety technical specification for electrical self-balancing vehicles, specifies safety requirements for electrical self-balancing vehicles, which is applicable to the design, production, and sale of electrical self-balancing vehicles powered by storage batteries. GB 40559-2024, Lithium ion cells and batteries used in electric self-balancing vehicle and scooters—Safety technical specification, stipulates safety requirements for lithium-ion batteries and battery packs used in electrical self-balancing vehicles, electric scooters, and similar products. These standards will help improve the safety performance of electrical self-balancing vehicles.
The mandatory national standard GB 44240-2024, Secondary lithium cells and batteries used in electrical energy storage systems—Safety requirements, specifies safety requirements for lithium batteries and battery packs used in electrical energy storage systems. The standard will help improve the safety performance of lithium batteries and battery packs for electrical energy storage systems and reduce the occurrence of safety accidents.
The voluntary national standard GB/T 45295-2025, Guideline for diagnosis and treatment service of pet medical institutions, provides suggestions and service guidance on the configuration of departmental facilities and equipment and environmental conditions in pet medical institutions. GB/T 45204-2025, Guideline for environmental cleaning and disinfection in pet business premises, offers guidance on system management, basic rules, preparation, implementation, and special situations for environmental cleaning and disinfection in pet business premises. These standards will regulate pet diagnostic services, which help improve the level of environmental cleaning and disinfection in pet business premises, enhance service quality, and promote the healthy development of the pet medical treatment industry.
