Dr. Tian Shihong, Vice-Minister of State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and Administrator of Standardization Administration of China (SAC), met with Mr. Sergio Mujica, Secretary-General of ISO, in virtual form on November 3, 2022.

Mr. Sergio Mujica briefed the ISO Annual Meeting 2022, ISO Council meeting and other meetings as well as highly praised and recognized China’s participation in the organizational governance and international standards development of ISO.

Dr. Tian Shihong indicated that China will continue to play a role as the member of ISO Council, and actively fulfill its responsibilities in the further participation of organizational governance with more contribution to the sustainable development of ISO and the realization of ISO Strategy 2030.
