China and Singapore Sign a MoU on Standardization Cooperation

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Dr. Tian Shihong, Vice-Minister of State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and Administrator of Standardization Administration of China (SAC) and Ms. Choy Sauw Kook, Director-General for Quality and Excellence of Enterprise Singapore, in an online meeting on October 28, 2022.

 

The signing of the MoU has clarified the key areas of standardization cooperation between China and Singapore, and innovated the way of the bilateral cooperation. Taking this as an opportunity, the two sides will continuously deepen their practical cooperation on standardization, and strengthen the coordination of standards. By doing so, they will jointly promote the upgrading of standardization cooperation with higher quality, advance the bilateral trade facilitation, and support the sustainable development of the two countries.
