基本情况：
深圳市计量质量检测研究院是深圳市人民政府技术监督行政管理部门依法设置和授权的具有法定地位的社会公益型非营利性计量质检机构。1998年7月经深圳市政府批准，由原“深圳市产品质量监督检验所”（于1985年成立）与“深圳市计量测试研究所” （于1986年成立）合并而成，并由国家质量监督检验检疫总局和深圳市政府批准设立“国家质量监督检验检疫总局深圳计量检定站”。管理人员合二为一，业务分计量检定/校准和产品质量检验两部分。
我院（站）占地面积25000m2 ,建筑面积18000m2，建有1200m2恒温恒湿实验室，仪器设备3650台件，设备原值约4530万元,全院（站）固定资产约9000万元。拥有一支从事计量检定、校准和产品质量检验工作的高素质职工队伍，总人数246人。其中大专以上学历的164人，高级职称22人，中级职称62人，初级职称60人。
我院（站）设有电学检测部、长度检测部、力学检测部、热工检测部、出租车计价器检测部、医化检测部、能源检测部、大质量检测部、小质量检测部、市场衡器检测部等十个计量专业部室。已经建立了长度、力学、热学、电磁学、无线电、时间频率、物理化学、光学和电离辐射共九大类社会公用计量标准。于1991年3月通过原国家计量局的审查验收，获得计量授权，对深圳市及境外开展计量检定/校准工作。1996年3月和2001年4月又经原国家质量技术监督局两次复查换发计量授权证书。1999年8月通过了广东省质量技术监督局的计量授权换证复查。2000年1月通过了国家实验室认可(证书号：0278号) ，并于2001年和2003年通过扩项评审和监督评审。

Introduction:
Shenzhen Academy of Metrology and Quality Inspection (the Academy), established and authorized by technical supervision and administrative department of the People's Government of Shenzhen according to laws, is a nonprofit metrology and quality inspection organ with legal status for social commonweal. Pursuant to the approval of Shenzhen municipal government in July 1998, the former Shenzhen product quality supervision and inspection center (established in 1985) and Shenzhen Metrology and Test Institute (established in 1986) merged into this Academy. Pursuant to the approval of AQAIQ and Shenzhen municipal government, Shenzhen Calibration Station of AQAIQ was established. Managerial personnel are combined to work for the two units at the same. Its business is divided into metrology and product quality inspection.
The Academy has land area of 25000 square meters and floorage of 18000 square meters, and laboratories with area of 1200 square meters and constant temperature and humidity and 3650 sets/pieces of instrument and equipment. The original cost of the equipment is around RMB 45.30 million and the fixed assets of the Academy are around RMB 90 million. Boasting a high-caliber team being engaged in product quality inspection, metrological verification and calibration, it has 246 members in total, including 164 with junior college education or above, 22 with senior professional title, 62 with semi-senior professional title and 60 with junior professional title.
The Academy has 10 departments of verification and calibration, i.e., Electrics Measuring Dept., Length Measuring Dept., Mechanics Measuring Dept., Temperature and Pressure Measuring Dept., Taximeter Measuring Dept., Medicine and Chemical Measuring Dept., Energy Measuring Dept., Large Mass Measuring Dept., Small Mass Measuring Dept., Market Weighing Apparatus Measuring Dept. It has established public metrological standards of 9 categories, i.e., length, mechanics, thermology, electromagnetics, radio, time, frequency, physical chemistry, optics and ionizing radiation. In March 3, 1991, it passed the examination and acceptance inspection of the former National Metrological Bureau and obtained metrology authorization to provide service of metrological verification / calibration to Shenzhen and overseas areas. It passed the reexamination of AQAIQ in March 1996 and April 2001 respectively and obtained renewed metrology authorization certificate. In August 1999, it passed the metrology authorization reexamination of Guangdong Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision for certificate renewal. In January 2000, it obtained the accreditation of CNAL (certificate number: No. 0278) and passed business scope expansion review and supervision review in 2001 and 2003.
